Walks in May

Here’s the latest details of the walks for May organised by Heather and friends. All women are welcome, any questions email wownorwich@hotmail.com

MAY 15th Foxley Woods

This ancient woodland is signposted with the brown Wildlife Trust badger sign from the A 1067 Norwich to Fakenham Road, about 10 miles from Fakenham.

Heather will meet you in the car park at 11.0 am – just come up and ask if we’re the WOW or EASG group. We could have a sandwich in the woods if it’s a warm day or find somewhere to eat afterwards. Hopefully the bluebells will be out and masses of other wild flowers, butterflies and birds. We’ll probably walk for an hour and a half.

MAY 29th Marston Marsh

Di will meet us in Eaton Waitrose car park at 10.30 am at the bottom of the steps leading to the shop. We’ll walk to the marsh from there. This is another site of interest to nature lovers with a variety of wild flowers and habitat. Again, probably walking for an hour and a half then either returning to Waitrose for lunch/a drink or to a pub.

Looking forward to seeing you there,Heather.
