WoW – for all women who identify as lesbian and bisexual in Norwich, Norfolk.

WoW has been running for 13 years now…and while our Rosie the Riveter has been getting things done, and seen us through till now,we’re shortly going to be designing a logo, leaflets, flyers and info to go out accross Norfolk, and getting a new web-site built.
If you have any ideas or designs for the new logo, and thoughts on what you’d like to see in the info packs, please get in touch.
Norwich Pride looks like a good place to re-launch with new look! So we have until then, July 25th 2009
(allowing a month to print etc!)
Thankyou, and look forward to hearing from you info@womenonwomen.co.uk

Their blog is well worth a look, and as always, you can email one of the team at WoW in confidence, or call in to The Drop-ins on Saturdays,1.30-3.30pm.
You’ll find a safe women -only space there, where we get together with tea and coffee, just to relax, meet each other, and new callers often come by…….and if you do want to talk about anything in particular, or would like support, just let the host that day know.

Closet Cabaret is a performance event for members of the Norwich queer community and their friends. We organise acts that deal playfully with sexuality-including live music, burlesque and drag. There is always dancing and a lot of dressing up.

Our first event in 2009 is Hillbilly themed-think broke back mountain, only edgier and trashier. There will be the usual drag acts, the usual gorgeous people in stunning costumes-we would like you to join us.

This Hillbilly extravaganza includes:
Drag by Sunny-Lou MuffinsClassic country burlesque from The Very Best of Friends (‘Sapphic Golden Daffodils’)Music from Susie ShowersComedy from Paul KnightA hillbilly duo, serenading with classic hitsLine dancing tutorialMusic to stomp to all night.Dress as you dare. There will be a dressing up box made available to those who don’t come fully prepared. If you are interested in performing, there are still slots available. We want to support queer performers or performers that deal with sexuality as much as we can, so please get in touch if we can give you a space to perform.
