Heather’s sent us this:If,like me, you would like to socialise mid-week, during the day, then you might like this idea for starters. I thought we could meet for tea or coffee and make suggestions for ‘events’ which ideally would be inexpensive or free ( such as rambles,art galleries,cycle rides,gardens or museums – all ideas welcome).
The first four cafe meetings are in Norwich but it would be nice if women from places outside Norwich suggested cafes and events where they live.
Tue. 6th. Sep. 10.30 am : The Greenhouse, Bethel St.
Tue. 13th. Sep. 3pm : The Tea House ( down a passage way ) Elm Hill.
Tue. 20th. Sep. 10.30 am : Frank’s Bar, Bedford St.
Tue. 27th. Sep. 3pm : King of Hearts, Fye Bridge St.
All of these serve Fair Trade tea and coffee. The Tea House is the only one which has steps leading to it, if this would prevent anyone from coming then we could meet along the road at the Briton’s Arms – I’ll stand outside the Tea house passage for this eventuality. We’ll meet inside the other cafes.
